The Pragati Series of Literacy India prepares young people for the world of work through industry-relevant skills, IT training, career readiness, and practical exposure. From Digital Device Repair, Solar, Electrical, Tailoring, Beauty & Wellness, Plumbing, Drone Operations, and handcrafted products to digital literacy, communication, resume writing, and interview preparation, the programme equips youth to build sustainable careers. Geetanjali's story reflects this transformation. Coming from a financially constrained family, she completed Class XII before enrolling at Delhi University. Determined to support her family, she joined the Pragati Series, where she strengthened her IT skills while learning workplace etiquette, communication, personality development, and interview skills. Her preparation paid off when she successfully cleared multiple interview rounds and secured a position with Croma, Lajpat Nagar. A first job is more than a salary—it is the beginning of confidence, independence, and new aspirations. Geetanjali's journey has only begun, and Literacy India is proud to have been part of her first step towards financial freedom.

Born in Jatava village in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district, Ram Sila Bai cultivates a small family farm of about two bighas. She joined Literacy India in 2021 through a kitchen garden programme, learning organic farming practices and the preparation of natural fertilisers. Applying these techniques improved her soil health, crop quality, and reduced dependence on chemicals. Recognising her dedication, Literacy India supported her in becoming a certified Agricultural Drone Pilot. Today, Ram Sila operates drones to spray organic pesticides across farmers' fields, bringing precision agriculture to her community. In a region where women are often expected to remain within traditional roles, her journey from farmer to drone pilot is a powerful example of how skills and opportunity can transform lives.

Thirty-four students from Literacy India represented the organisation at the 28th District Gurugram Judo Championship 2026–27, held on 23–24 July at Daulatabad, Gurugram.

The championship showcased not only sporting excellence but also the discipline, confidence, and perseverance that our students develop through regular training. We congratulate every participant for making Literacy India proud.

Literacy India's young innovators delivered an exceptional performance at the WSRO Blix-A-Thon Regional Championship held in Greater Noida, competing against more than 30 teams from leading schools, including BLS World School, The Wisdom Tree School, SKS World School, and The Vivekananda School. Many participating teams were supported by renowned STEM organisations such as Omotec, STEMROBO, and RoboThink. Competing with confidence, technical skill, and remarkable teamwork, Literacy India's robotics teams secured all three podium positions in the Senior Robotics Challenge:

The winning teams represented students from different age groups and centres. The Bajghera champions were all Class 9 students—Devdutt, Saraswati, Amar, and Shahnawaj. The Kulesra team showcased impressive collaboration across grades, with Ansh (Class 8), Gaurav (Class 6), and Vansh (Class 7). Representing Chhawla, Bimlesh and Nitin (Class 9) along with Aditya Pathak and Vineet (Class 8) secured an impressive third-place finish. The success of the teams was built on a strong foundation of STEM learning. Through regular hands-on training, students developed a deep understanding of structures, mechanisms, gears, and motion, which was further strengthened during Literacy India's Tinkerathon and previous Blix-A-Thon experiences. Throughout the competition, they demonstrated outstanding engineering thinking by designing reliable robots, identifying problems quickly, testing improvements, and refining their solutions with confidence.

A particularly inspiring achievement came from the Kulesra team. Participating in their first-ever robotics competition, they secured the runner-up position after just ten days of focused preparation. Their performance reflects the impact of quality mentorship, determination, and the confidence that comes from experiential learning. Beyond technical excellence, the students displayed remarkable composure under pressure. Experience gained through earlier competitions such as NYRC, WRC, RoboVerse, and other robotics events enabled them to remain calm, think critically, and execute precise solutions when it mattered most. Their discipline, resilience, teamwork, and ability to adapt ultimately set them apart.
