Aditi, a 17-year-old with a fervent passion for learning, hails from a modest family of three. Her father works as a physiotherapist, while her mother dedicates her time to taking care of their entire household. They support Aditi academic aspirations wholeheartedly; however, the financial expenses of her formal education posed a significant challenge for them.
They enrolled her in Literacy India with the hope of supporting her dreams and emphasizing the value of education in their humble household. Aditi joined the CCA course and initially found it challenging to keep up with the pace of the program. Computers and software were relatively new to her, but her determination and passion drove her to push through the difficulties. With regular practice, she gradually developed proficiency in using various elements of Microsoft office such as clipboard, fonts, styling, editing, tables, hyperlinking, adding header-footer, and page numbering. Furthermore, she also learnt to create PowerPoint presentations and cover pages on word. With each passing day, Aditi’s understanding grew, and she became more adept at using computers.
Grateful to Literacy India for the opportunity to expand her skills, Aditi plans to work in data entry, aspiring to join a corporate office upon completing her education. Her dream is not just personal – it’s a commitment to supporting her family financially and creating a positive impact on the world through self-reliance. Aditi’s story showcases the transformative power of education and determination in the face of challenges.
