Reducing E-Waste and Conserving Resources
- We extend the life of technology by using refurbished computers and tablets in our digital learning programs.
- Prevents electronic waste from polluting the environment and lowers the carbon footprint linked with manufacturing new devices.
- Supports a circular economy, teaching our students and communities the value of reuse, repair, and recycling.
Bringing Energy Equity through Solar Power
- Installs rooftop solar power systems in remote and underserved centers, addressing the electricity gap affecting 36% of schools in India.
- Provides reliable, clean energy powering lighting, digital classrooms, and essential amenities like water purification.
- Impact: Schools with 1kW solar systems generate ~1,500 kWh annually, cutting 31 tonnes of carbon emissions (equivalent to planting 49 trees).
- Improves learning environments with longer teaching hours, reduces dropout rates, and instills environmental responsibility.
Rain Water Harvesting
- Championing environmental sustainability since 2007.
- Conserved an impressive 26 lakh liters of water, significantly reducing dependency on external water sources.
- Supports water security in our communities and promotes eco-friendly practices aligned with UNSDG goals.
Paper Recycling & Waste Repurposing
- IINDHA’s in-house Waste Paper Recycling Plant has produced over 15.5 lakh sheets of recycled paper since 2007, saving ~500 trees.
- Transforms discarded materials into high-quality recycled paper and beautifully crafted stationery.
- Repurposes waste wood from packaging into hand-painted wall décor, supported by campus solar panels.
- Corporate employees actively engage in hands-on workshops, fostering conservation awareness.
Project Arogyam (Health Outreach)
- Bridges the healthcare gap in rural and slum communities through camps, referrals, check-ups, and critical interventions.
- Ensures accessible healthcare and promotes holistic well-being.
